Handcrafted from start to finish. The fabric is handmade by master artisans in Mali, Africa and transformed into pillows on the California coast. African mud cloth, also called Bogolan (‘colored with earth’), is a traditional technique that has been mastered by the artisans of Mali and woven deeply into their culture. The cotton is spun, woven, dyed, and painted by hand. The beautiful earthy colors come from the natural botanicals and fermented mud used when dying. The process is completely natural and environmentally friendly. The pillows are lined with natural cotton canvas.

Wash on gentle in cold water. Air dry. Colors may fade with multiple washes as the fabric is hand-dyed with natural botanicals.
